I’m bringing this show idea to Netflix because I want you to understand where I’m coming from and why this project matters.

Despite getting close, I never reached my goal with UK broadcasters—each time, the opportunity was pulled away. It took six years to get All About The McKenzies to ITV2 in 2016, and I even self-published a book documenting my independent journey—the wins and setbacks alike. Then, in 2021, after jumping through numerous hoops with Channel 4, I was ultimately told the show wasn’t ‘tonally’ right for their network. I lost hope.

But with Netflix, there are no restrictions of ‘tonality’ or ‘right fit.’ Netflix is global, limitless, and reaches beyond traditional networks. I want to revamp, rebrand, and relaunch All About The McKenzies—making history while inspiring creators with resilience and perseverance. The first season is already written and ready to go. My production company, Bentavision, made this show happen, and I’ve attached the pilot script for you to read.
